Today, I and my siblings watched KalyeSerye of the longest
and number one noontime show in the Philippines, Eat Bulaga. We are fanatics of
this series on noontime being top billed by phenomenal supercouple Alden
Richards and Maine Mendoza (aka Yaya Dub) popularly known as AlDub and JoWaPao
(Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros) for more than six months.
The series has been focusing the love story of Lola Nidora
and Anselmo for the past five days. Young Lola Nidora and Anselmo are portrayed
by Alden and Yaya. Today, Lola Nidora remembered events during their
preparation for the baile (dance) in Anselmo’s friend party.
As the scene retrogressed, Anselmo excitedly showed the
dress he bought for Nidora. The latter asked how he had the money to buy a new
dress. The former retorted he sold his lone calf just for the new dress of his
apple of an eye. Then, the two sweetly danced boogie (pronounced by Anselmo as
boojie).
EB Babe Anne who played the role Beyonce/ Yaya Mot
intervened and informed Nidora that her mother, Ariana Miley is currently
staying at their farm in Zambales. That news gave a glimpse of hope for two. On
the other hand, the lovers raised concerns about the maid’s condition being
maltreated by her employer due to Nidora’s escape.
The time arrived for the two to socialize in the party.
Their apparels brought all the viewers back to 1940’s. Upon reaching the area,
the place was in the party mode as the guests danced in to the music produced
by the trumpets. The dance party levitated the nostalgic feeling of the viewers
especially the studio audience.
The guests asked the two to showcase their dancing skills.
At first, the two displayed trepidation but as they hear the groovy sound, they
owned the dance floor individually. The audience went wild and stunned as the two performed a breathtaking dance with lifting and fast movement.
However, the joy of the couple was cut as Ariana Miley found them in the party. Nidora's mother reiterated that she is not in favor for Anselmo to be her son-in-law because of social status. The cruel mother separated the two. Anselmo and Nidora still had their sweet moments even they were dissociated by the bodyguards. The conclusion showed the man trying to catch the car where Nidora rode. The anguish of the audience stopped as Ariana went outside to push the luxurious car.
Today's KalyeSerye trended well through the hashtag #MrAndMrsSotto. A roller coaster of emotions was experienced by the viewers as the cast gave laughter and tears to the viewers.
With these scenarios, I and many avid viewers are looking forward to seeing more events on Nidora's affair with Anselmo.
