People from different sectors in Anda gathered together to
formally start the 12th Binongey Festival 2016 yesterday morning. Around 8 o’ clock
in the morning, the Anda Town Gymnasium became busy as the organizers arrange
the flow of the parade. Here is the order of the parade based on the
invitations being disseminated:

The participants interpreted the theme of the occasion “No
miaaluyon pirmi, umaligwas yay babali” (If we stay together, the town prospers)
by marching in the streets together. The parade lasted for thirty minutes.
After that, all assembled in the gymnasium for a short program. The local
public officials were all present in the event. Some of them gave short
messages to everyone.

The beauties of the town amused the audiences as they show
their glamor and poise to all. Miss Tourism Philippines 2015 First Runner- up Dianarra Cardoso and Miss Earth Philippines 2016 Official Candidate
Liza Cacho were elegant on their colorful gowns. They were enthusiastic in
walking and answering questions. Cacho, who will try to bring the crown as Miss
Earth Philippines 2016 on June 12, 2016 asked the Andanians to support her bid
through online voting on Facebook page of Miss Earth Philippines 2016. She also
reminded the people to do measures against climate change.
